I know your problem, every computer is stored in tiny "boxes" and those boxes contain your data. Over time, huge files can tend to be broken apart or disappear like dust in the wind. So, I recommend you to do a Defragmentation on your computer & get rid of "junk" files.
Also, your graphic card doesn't determine the FPS or rendering speed, it's your processor speed is what you need to worry about. Background apps will use up your Processing Power....
